  • Priyanka Chopra had a cool response to give.

Priyanka Chopra was called a 'global scam artist' by an article in The Cut, an offshoot of the New York Magazine. The piece, titled 'Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' Love for Real?' slammed Priyanka Chopra and accused her of "defrauding" Nick Jonas into a "fraudulent" relationship. It went viral on social media. There was strong uproar as the writer accused Priyanka of being a 'global scam artist' and that Nick married her against his will.
The publication finally took the article down, but not after people around the globe expressed their shock and fury at its sexist and racist content. The Cut tried 'updating' it and toning it down, but it still did not cut it.
After that, The Cut tweeted an apology saying, "An earlier story about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not meet our standards. We've removed it and apologize." The same lines greet a reader on the link to the article too now.
